Module content | Integration of social work theory and practice within a developmental social work perspective; relevance and exposure to volunteerism and cultural diversity. Introduction to welfare services in practice and different fields of service delivery. Application of social work intervention in the community by means of a situation analysis. Intervention with groups and individuals by means of roleplaying in a laboratory setting. Life-skills training regarding a holistic balanced life style, human sexuality and HIV/Aids, conflict management, self-image and skills involved in public speaking. |
